Dominion Diagnostics to Support The One Fund Boston, Inc.

Dominion Diagnostics, a leading national provider of clinical drug testing and medication monitoring services, is uniting with other donors in the business community to raise funds for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

This week Dominion Diagnostics will observe National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (NMLPW) sponsored by the American Society for Clinical Pathology along with its staff of more than 200 laboratory and administrative professionals.   Dominion's management team appreciates the opportunity to demonstrate the Company's important role within the health care services industry and surrounding communities.

Each year, Dominion Diagnostics celebrates NMLPW by raising funds for charities.  This year, all monies raised from employees during activities this week will be donated to The One Fund Boston, Inc., founded by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino, to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013.  In addition, Dominion Diagnostics will generously match all funds raised by employees.

“The tragic events that took place in Boston impacted our entire nation, and many of our employees, clients, families, friends and business associates.  The outpouring of support from everyone at Dominion has been tremendous,” said Robert Garvey, CEO.  “We know that those individuals affected will need considerable help in their recovery.  Once again, our exemplary Dominion team has stepped forward to help a community in need.  I couldn’t be prouder of them.”

Dominion Diagnostics encourages anyone interested in helping to donate at www.OneFundBoston.org.  These funds will help the families of those people who were killed and the more than 180 wounded during the tragedies that took place last week.
